Kness Mfg’s design is a reflective deterrent with a base and center post. Further up the post, a dual set of spinners and fins are positioned and set to rotate in opposite directions. The spinners can be wind powered and solar-battery powered to ensure they operate regardless of weather. The reflectivity and constant motion of the spinning fins are designed to scare away and prevent birds from settling in.
