U.S. Patent Application No. 20250143763, titled ‘Bony fusion implant, insertion instrument, and methods’, introduces a self-drilling implant that promotes bone growth and simplifies delivery. The device uses a threaded body and a lattice structure to support natural bone growth. Unlike traditional implants, it drills into bone directly, which removes the need for pre-drilling. Delivery Tool Adds Precision
The system includes a rod and outer shaft that guide the implant. A luer lock at the rod’s end connects directly to a syringe. As a result, surgeons can inject graft material during placement. Additionally, a rotating knob allows for accurate control, while the shaft helps align the implant.
