Kentucky Patent of the Month – February 2023

Archery has come a long way since its origins as a hunting and combat tool. Modern archers often use complex compound bows with a variety of accessories to achieve greater precision and accuracy. One of the key accessories is the bow sight, which helps archers aim at targets with greater precision. Unfortunately, mounting a bow sight can be quite tricky. Incorrect mounting can introduce displacement, meaning the sight is no longer accurate. It can also knock your bow out of balance, further limiting your precision. Recently, Brown Innovations LLC has patented their design for a bow sight which can be mounted on the centerline of a bow, optimizing balance and sight precision.

This bow sight includes an innovative mounting system that eliminates the need for threaded apertures or other mounting devices. Instead, the sight can be easily attached to the riser of the bow with a simple snap-on mechanism. This allows for easy and quick installation and adjustment, making it much more user-friendly than traditional bow sights.

The Brown Innovations bow sight also includes a unique micro-adjustment mechanism that allows for precise and accurate adjustments to the sight’s position. This mechanism allows for both horizontal and vertical adjustments, and can be finely tuned to ensure the arrow hits the target dead-on.

Another innovative feature is its durable construction. Made of high-quality materials, this sight is built to withstand even the harshest conditions. Whether you’re hunting in the wilderness or competing in an archery tournament, you can count on this sight to perform flawlessly.
