U.S. Patent No. 12318683, titled ‘Multi-deck automatic smart card shuffler and security system configured to shuffle and deliver hands for a casino table game such as baccarat’, introduces a compact, automated system that combines speed with strong security features.
Smarter shuffling with real-time control
Shark Trap Gaming & Security Systems LLC designed the system to identify, shuffle, and deliver cards from multiple decks. Unlike traditional devices, this one can send specific hands to exact table positions. As a result, it helps prevent dealer mistakes and ensures fair gameplay every time.
Boosting casino security
The device uses smart sensors and built-in logic to recognize each card and track it through every shuffle. In addition, it can spot tampering, missing cards, or duplicates in real time. This protects both players and casinos from cheating or fraud.
Flexible, fast, and dealer-friendly
The machine also adapts easily to different table games and play styles. Dealers can select dealing modes through a simple interface, making it easy to switch games or adjust gameplay. Consequently, casinos benefit from smoother operations and faster game flow.
Expanding beyond baccarat
Although the patent focuses on baccarat, the system could enhance other card games as well. By combining automation with high-level security, it helps casinos increase both trust and efficiency on the gaming floor.
