Scottsdale, Arizona Patent of the Year – 2024/2025

Dynamic Water Technologies Global LLC has been awarded the 2024/2025 Patent of the Year for its innovative approach to water treatment. Their invention, detailed in U.S. Patent No. 12098084, titled ‘Systems and methods for the removal of minerals from conductive protonic fluids’, introduces a system that removes hardness-causing minerals from conductive fluids using electric fields, enhancing efficiency in industrial cooling systems.

The patented technology employs a direct current to create an electric field within a reaction chamber, separating the fluid into positive and negative ions. This process establishes a pH gradient, prompting minerals like calcium and magnesium to precipitate out of the solution. Additionally, the system generates oxidizing agents that help control biological growth, reducing the need for chemical additives.

This method addresses common issues in cooling towers and heat exchangers, where mineral buildup can impair performance and increase maintenance costs. By minimizing scale formation and biological contamination, the system promotes longer equipment life and improved operational efficiency.

Dynamic Water Technologies Global, LLC’s innovation offers a sustainable alternative to traditional water treatment methods. By reducing reliance on chemicals and enhancing system performance, this technology represents a significant advancement in industrial water management.
