Bridgeport, Connecticut Patent of the Year – 2024/2025

Unger Marketing International LLC has been awarded the 2024/2025 Patent of the Year for their innovative fluid purification technology. Their invention, detailed in U.S. Patent No. 11911720, titled ‘Fluid purification device’, introduces a novel system designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of water purification processes.

This advanced purification device features a tank with an interior space housing a replaceable media container. A key component of the system is a valve that operates in conjunction with an element within the interior. The valve is biased to the open position when the element is absent, allowing the interior space to be fluidly coupled to the atmosphere. Upon the insertion of the element, the valve moves to a closed position, effectively sealing the interior and initiating the purification process.

The design emphasizes user-friendly maintenance, featuring a replaceable media module that simplifies the upkeep of the system. This innovation is particularly beneficial for applications requiring high-purity water, such as cleaning windows, solar panels, and vehicles, where traditional methods may leave behind spots or streaks due to mineral deposits.

Unger Marketing International’s fluid purification device represents a significant advancement in water treatment technology, offering a practical solution for achieving superior cleaning results while maintaining ease of use and sustainability.
