Tennessee Patent of the Month – March 2025
Ekamor Resource Corporation has unveiled a patented waste-to-energy system that could transform how industries convert waste into usable resources. The innovation, detailed in U.S. Patent No. 12,251,706, titled “Device, method, and control system for waste to energy generation and other output products,” introduces a modular, sensor-driven process for turning diverse waste streams into energy and other valuable outputs.
Adaptive Waste Processing with Real-Time Control
At the heart of Ekamor’s system is a mechanical pulverizer that breaks down feedstock—ranging from biomass to municipal waste—into fine particles. An integrated air conveyor then transports these particles to a separator, which classifies them based on size and moisture content. The system dynamically adjusts airflow and feed rates using real-time data, optimizing for energy yield and material recovery. This adaptive approach allows for consistent output quality, even as input materials vary.
Real-World Impact: From Waste to Revenue
Ekamor’s technology offers industries a way to reduce landfill use while generating renewable energy or reusable byproducts. Its modular design enables easy integration into existing facilities, making it a practical solution for sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, and municipal waste management. By turning waste into a resource, the system not only addresses environmental concerns but also opens new revenue streams.
