Wyoming Patent of the Month – December 2022

Kensui, LLC was founded with the mission of addressing the missing innovation in the fitness industry. Their flagship product, the EZ Vest, brought engineering and fitness together in a patented weight-loading vest. The best, which is compatible with all weight plates, ensures every rep is met with the intensity it deserves.

Recently, the company has been granted another patent. This time, for the design of a collapsible push-up bar.

The truth of the fitness world is, most people don’t have time to hit the gym every day. While a workout itself may not be that long, the commute and time spent getting to the gym is often a limiting factor. The collapsible push-up bar addresses this, combining portability and engineering to bring the gym to you.

The bar is made of a handle-grip and two feet. The feet, or stands, slide snugly in the hand-grip bar for easy transportation. When setting up, the user would just align the stands and snap them into place using a snap-on closure system. The design uses aircraft-grade aluminum to ensure it will support the entire body weight of a user. The feet are UV-proof and non-slip material for optimal stability.

The design allows for optimal wrist placement to prevent the chance of injury. The  more natural and neutral grip eases strain on the joint which is often felt in a flat-hand stance. This natural position also supports a greater range of motion, meaning you get more benefit in every rep.
