The use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) has become increasingly popular in recent years as people seek to protect their online privacy and access geo-restricted content. However, the use of VPNs can also have its drawbacks, such as the alteration of the character of data originating from the VPN. The service providers can detect the use of a VPN and take adverse actions that cancel out some of the benefits provided through the use of the VPN. To overcome this challenge, Berryville Holdings, LLC, a leader in protection against cyber threats, has developed a new way to alter the character of data originating from a VPN.

The method involves receiving data from the VPN, generating a message by combining the packets of data, and then segmenting the message into smaller packets. A third plurality of these packets is equal to the network maximum transfer unit allowed by the Internet, and the last packet is less than the network maximum transfer unit. The second data is then forwarded to a second network interface and sent to a web server. This method allows the character of data originating from a VPN to be altered, reducing the likelihood that the service provider will detect the use of a VPN.

In layman’s terms, the data is encrypted in a way that ensures the network traffic character does not indicate VPN usage and therefore won’t trigger any alarms. The system acts as a cloaking device, hiding the use of VPN from any third party observers.

Berryville Holdings LLC is a software development company dedicated to creating Leading-Edge-Software-Innovations to customers whose security and operational requirements demand proactive security and tactical solutions.
