The Early Stage Development of Technologies in Biomedical Computing, Informatics, and Big Data Science program aims to encourage applications that focus on development of technologies in biomedical computing, informatics, and Big Data science supporting the development of new software, tools and related resources. Ideal project topics include but are not excluded to:

  • Collaborative environments and technologies
  • Data integration
  • Analysis and modeling methodologies
  • Computer science and statistical approaches

Typical award amounts of not more than $225,000 for Phase I projects and up to $1,500,000 for Phase II projects with project duration of up to two years. All applicants must meet the following criteria.
