Utah Patent of the Month – February 2023
For many pet owners, having a furry friend brings a lot of joy and companionship. However, a dog with an injury or who is getting on with age, along with many other pets, are not capable of joining their owners on outdoor activities such as hiking, running, and traveling. That’s where K9 Sport Sack LLC comes in, revolutionizing the way pets can travel with their owners.
K9 Sport Sack designs innovative pet carrying backpacks designed to allow pet owners to bring their furry friends on outdoor adventures. The backpack provides a comfy space for the pet to sit while an open top has an adjustable collar, allowing their head to poke out.
The backpack has shoulder straps that extend from the front panel, paw holes on the front of the backpack body that accommodate paws or legs of the animal. In this way, the pet can sit forward facing with sufficient support and space. Separate platforms also allow a separated storage compartment.
To provide the utmost comfort, the backpack comes with contouring straps and lumbar support straps that allow for easy adjustment to fit different body types. The pet carrying platform is angled upwards from the front towards the rear to provide a comfortable position for the pet. It comes with a harness that can be worn by the animal and is removable. The harness has a chest portion with an attachment mechanism that attaches to and detaches from the front panel of the bag.
K9 Sport Sack provides a safe and comfortable way to bring pets on outdoor adventures. It allows owners to be with their pets without worrying about leaving them in commercial pet care facilities or with friends. The backpack has waist straps that help balance the load and distribute the weight evenly across the owner’s body. The backpack is also lightweight and easy to carry around, making it perfect for long hikes and travel.
