The company has recently patented their design for tactical shirts designed to retain comfort in uncomfortable conditions. In this v-neck design, the material is carefully designed to avoid overheating and chafing in hot environments. The core and torso material has a low thermal insulation as this area is typically covered by other tactical gear. This lower thermal insulation prevents overheating. For instance, the material provides a protective barrier between skin and any rubbing from body armor or over-top protective gear. The material controls heat transfer and wicks moisture, increasing comfort on a long day. By using a knitted fabric, the material allows for more stretch and movement.
The sleeves are a separate material which is more durable and abrasion resistant. Since the arm and shoulder region has the most movement and rotation, these areas are particularly prone to rubbing and abrasions. This sleeve material has a higher thermal insulation, supporting warmth for the extremities.
The last thing hunters or military personnel need is to be distracted by discomfort. Careful consideration into material and structure is the key to achieving comfort and protecting the wearer.
