At its core, SentiAR’s invention aims to redefine the way we engage with our surroundings. The incorporation of haptic feedback introduces a tactile dimension, allowing users to feel the virtual or augmented elements as if they were physically present. This not only adds a new layer of immersion to virtual experiences but also opens avenues for applications in fields like gaming, virtual reality, and beyond.
Utilizing a head-mounted device (HMD), the system uses AR graphics to display various objects and auditory cues. The HMD tracks the user’s eye movements and gaze direction to determine the user’s interaction with various AR objects. This approach gives physicians real-time, interactive, 360 degree view of the treatment they’re delivering.
With AR technology, physicians can have smaller procedure entry points without limiting their view of the internal. SentiAR’s system uses real-time data from catheters and 3D electroanatomic mapping systems to reflect the patient’s anatomy while the physician operates.
