Nevada Patent of the Month – October 2023

Headquartered in Las Vegas, Competition Interactive, LLC has a love for the casino gaming experience and is working to bring the industry into the next generation with their touchless gaming systems. In an era where safety and hygiene are paramount, this innovation is revolutionizing the way we enjoy casino games.

The touchless gaming system is designed to make the gaming experience safer and more interactive. It consists of a gaming table, physical game pieces, seats, cameras, and a game processor. The system seamlessly integrates with personal electronic devices, like smartphones and smartwatches, which enables players to participate without any physical contact with the game pieces or the table.

The game processor receives images from cameras positioned over the table, processes them, and generates an electronic signal. This signal is then transmitted to the personal electronic device of each player occupying a seat, allowing them to play the game without touching the physical game pieces.

One crucial aspect of this touchless gaming system is social distancing. The seats are strategically positioned at least six feet apart, adhering to safety guidelines. This not only ensures the well-being of the players but also creates a comfortable and secure environment in the casino.

The system also offers a registration feature that’s as simple as placing your personal electronic device near an NFC device at the gaming station. Once registered, players can place bets and make game choices through an app, all without any physical interaction with the game or the table.

For the casino’s table crew members, a table screen provides real-time information, allowing them to confirm player registrations, bets, and play choices. It ensures a smooth and efficient gaming experience for all.

Competition Interactive is bringing a breath of fresh air to the casino gaming industry. They’re making the casino experience not only fun but also safer and more interactive, bridging the gap between traditional casino gaming and modern technology.
