Skier’s Choice, Inc., manufacturer of Supra and Moomba inboard wakeboard and waterski towboats, is dedicated to fun on the water. Recently, the company has been granted a patent for their new wakeboat designed with dynamic wave control. Wakeboats take advantage of the wake produced by the boat thats pulling them. With Skier’s Choice’s dynamic wave control, riders can better manage waves and even surf the wake.
The boat uses a smart system equipped with inclinometers and sensors to track the wakeboat’s position and orientation. The system can be controlled via a dual screen dash and intuitive boat thrusters. The user can adjust the volume of water in ballast tanks, allowing for the creation of the perfect wake.
Skier’s Choice’s commitment to innovation extends beyond entertainment. With systems and methods for ballast pump monitoring, hull orientation, and automatic ballast management, they are driving advancements that not only elevate the watersports experience but also contribute to the safety and efficiency of wakeboat operations.
