U.S. Patent No. 12495062, titled ‘Continuous authentication in secure and isolated network environments’, introduces a system that monitors user identity in real time. This innovation ensures that sensitive data remains protected even after a user successfully logs into a network.
Closing the Security Gap
Traditional security models often rely on a single login event to grant access. Once a user enters a password, the system assumes they are authorized until they log out. This creates a massive vulnerability if a device is stolen or a session is hijacked. The new invention solves this by constantly verifying the user’s identity through background checks. It uses behavioral data and environmental signals to confirm that the person at the keyboard is still the authorized employee.
Protecting Isolated Networks
This technology is particularly vital for high-security, isolated environments where traditional cloud-based tools often fail. By integrating continuous checks directly into the network architecture, the system provides a seamless experience without interrupting the user’s workflow. If the system detects suspicious activity or an unrecognized user, it can instantly restrict access or trigger an alert. What is the R&D Tax Credit?
The Research & Experimentation Tax Credit (or R&D Tax Credit), is a general business tax credit under Internal Revenue Code section 41 for companies that incur research and development (R&D) costs in the United States. The credits are a tax incentive for performing qualified research in the United States, resulting in a credit to a tax return. For the first three years of R&D claims, 6% of the total qualified research expenses (QRE) form the gross credit. In the 4th year of claims and beyond, a base amount is calculated, and an adjusted expense line is multiplied times 14%. Click here to learn more.
