Michigan and the R&D Tax Credit
The permanent Michigan Research and Development Tax Credit is explicitly designed to incentivize local research activities, promoting innovation, technological advancement, and job growth within the state. Effective for tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2025, this credit is available to both eligible corporations and flow-through entities.
