A breakthrough in surgical technology promises to make cancer treatments safer and more efficient. Innoblative Designs, Inc. has secured a new patent for a tool that removes diseased tissue while simultaneously sealing the area. This innovation aims to reduce the need for repeat operations and improve recovery times for patients.
This technology, described in U.S. Patent No. 12527622, titled ‘System for minimally invasive tissue ablation and sealing’, represents a major leap in surgical precision. It integrates advanced energy delivery into a compact, minimally invasive format.
Precision in Tissue Treatment
The new system uses a specialized probe to deliver targeted energy directly to abnormal cells. This allows surgeons to destroy tumors with extreme accuracy without damaging nearby healthy tissue. By integrating ablation and sealing into one seamless step, the device simplifies complex surgical workflows.
Transforming Surgical Outcomes
Minimally invasive tools are crucial for modern healthcare. This invention reduces the risk of bleeding and infection during procedures like breast-conserving surgeries. Patients can expect shorter hospital stays and less post-operative pain. Ultimately, this technology provides a cleaner and faster path to healing.

What is the R&D Tax Credit?
The Research & Experimentation Tax Credit (or R&D Tax Credit), is a general business tax credit under Internal Revenue Code section 41 for companies that incur research and development (R&D) costs in the United States. The credits are a tax incentive for performing qualified research in the United States, resulting in a credit to a tax return. For the first three years of R&D claims, 6% of the total qualified research expenses (QRE) form the gross credit. In the 4th year of claims and beyond, a base amount is calculated, and an adjusted expense line is multiplied times 14%. Click here to learn more.
