Ophillia Holdings Inc. has introduced a breakthrough method for tracking objects in Earth orbit. The invention, U.S. Patent No. 12586219, titled ‘Fast kinematic construct method for characterizing anthropogenic space objects’, offers a faster way to identify man-made debris and satellites. This technology is vital for preventing orbital collisions and protecting modern space infrastructure.
Improving Space Domain Awareness
As space becomes more crowded, identifying man-made objects is critical for safety. Ophillia Holdings Inc. solves this by processing imaging data with high efficiency. The method uses electro-optical pixels to capture movement in real time. It applies a correction process to remove background light and noise from the data. This allows for precise tracking even in challenging light conditions.
Protecting Global Satellite Networks
Modern society relies on satellites for GPS and communication. This new kinematic construct helps operators distinguish between active assets and dangerous junk. By modeling how objects move, the system provides a clear picture of the orbital environment. This innovation reduces the risk of catastrophic impacts in space. It ensures that global data networks remain secure and functional for years to come.

What is the R&D Tax Credit?
The Research & Experimentation Tax Credit (or R&D Tax Credit), is a general business tax credit under Internal Revenue Code section 41 for companies that incur research and development (R&D) costs in the United States. The credits are a tax incentive for performing qualified research in the United States, resulting in a credit to a tax return. For the first three years of R&D claims, 6% of the total qualified research expenses (QRE) form the gross credit. In the 4th year of claims and beyond, a base amount is calculated, and an adjusted expense line is multiplied times 14%. Click here to learn more.
