The processor further estimates damage to a subset of the identified object components, introducing a level of analysis that was previously unprecedented. These damage estimates are not static; they evolve based on subsequent images captured during the inspection process.
To guide users through this novel inspection journey, Fyusion presents a graphical user interface on the device’s display screen. This interface acts as a dynamic visual aid, overlaying live camera views with component segmentation information. Users can witness a real-time representation of the object’s components, each marked with areas of color corresponding to the identified damage.
The interface doesn’t stop at mere visual representation; it provides invaluable recording guidance. Users are directed on capturing additional images to enhance coverage levels, ensuring a comprehensive inspection. As these new images are integrated, the damage estimates are updated, and the graphical user interface reflects the latest information.
Primarily designed for inspecting vehicles, Fyusion’s invention addresses the limitations of manual inspection processes. The traditional approach, laden with human subjectivity, often leads to variations in results and increased costs. Fyusion’s method not only automates the process but also introduces a new standard of accuracy and efficiency.
