Mutualink‘s innovative personal wearable micro-server system redefines real-time multimedia communication by integrating biometric data with wearable technology. This system utilizes a biosensor, worn by a user, to trigger specific actions, such as activating a camera and establishing a multimedia collaboration session with designated parties. The invention connects personal biosignals to electronic devices, enabling the system to automatically record and transmit audio and video data when certain biometric thresholds are met, such as signs of distress or heightened physical exertion.

When an event is detected, the system prompts the user’s electronic device to begin recording, while also alerting relevant parties through an interoperability gateway. This gateway facilitates seamless communication across otherwise incompatible networks, bridging voice and video data between first responders, security teams, or other essential personnel in real-time. The system ensures that both audio and visual information are shared instantaneously, enhancing situational awareness and decision-making during critical incidents.

Additionally, the system dynamically adjusts to ongoing events, transmitting alerts as conditions change. For instance, a second biometric signal, such as the user’s signs of recovery, can trigger the cessation of the recording. This real-time capability ensures that resources are only used as necessary, making it efficient and responsive. The personal wearable micro-server also supports local networks, serving as a relay gateway that ensures connectivity even in environments where traditional communication infrastructure might be unreliable.

By merging biometric monitoring with multimedia communication, this system allows for more coordinated, responsive, and data-rich interactions during emergencies or security operations. With the ability to initiate and terminate communication sessions based on the user’s physiological states, Mutualink’s invention is a groundbreaking leap in wearable technology for enhanced collaboration in critical environments.

What is the R&D Tax Credit?

The Research & Experimentation Tax Credit (or R&D Tax Credit), is a general business tax credit under Internal Revenue Code section 41 for companies that incur research and development (R&D) costs in the United States. The credits are a tax incentive for performing qualified research in the United States, resulting in a credit to a tax return. For the first three years of R&D claims, 6% of the total qualified research expenses (QRE) form the gross credit. In the 4th year of claims and beyond, a base amount is calculated, and an adjusted expense line is multiplied times 14%. Click here to learn more.
