Georgia Patent of the Month – December 2025
The safety of residential and commercial buildings is taking a major leap forward thanks to a breakthrough in automated oversight. Flash Fire Inspector LLC has secured U.S. Patent No. 12488407, titled ‘Artificial intelligence inspection system and method’, to modernize how we identify property hazards. This innovation uses advanced computer vision to detect risks that human eyes might miss during routine checks.
Smart Detection for Safer Spaces
The patented technology integrates artificial intelligence to analyze visual data from interior and exterior environments. The system automatically identifies critical fire safety issues, such as blocked exits or faulty equipment. By processing images in real time, it provides an immediate layer of protection for property owners and managers. This automation removes the inconsistency of manual inspections and ensures a higher standard of compliance.
Scaling Expertise Through Technology
Flash Fire Inspector LLC is addressing a major bottleneck in the fire protection industry. Traditional inspections often require specialized personnel to be physically present for long periods. This new AI-driven method allows for rapid assessments across large portfolios of buildings. The system learns from vast datasets to recognize diverse hazards across different architectural styles. This capability makes professional-grade safety audits accessible and affordable for a wider range of facilities.
The Future of Proactive Prevention
This invention shifts fire safety from reactive repairs to proactive prevention. The system generates detailed reports that highlight specific vulnerabilities before they lead to emergencies. By streamlining the data collection process, the technology helps local authorities and insurance providers better understand risk profiles. This digital transformation marks a significant milestone in the evolution of smart building management and public safety.

What is the R&D Tax Credit?
The Research & Experimentation Tax Credit (or R&D Tax Credit), is a general business tax credit under Internal Revenue Code section 41 for companies that incur research and development (R&D) costs in the United States. The credits are a tax incentive for performing qualified research in the United States, resulting in a credit to a tax return. For the first three years of R&D claims, 6% of the total qualified research expenses (QRE) form the gross credit. In the 4th year of claims and beyond, a base amount is calculated, and an adjusted expense line is multiplied times 14%. Click here to learn more.
