AFRL Renovates and Reopens

The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) has just opened their newly renovated R&D facility in Ohio. The new renovations will allow AFRL scientists and engineers to conduct multidisciplinary research with easy access to biotech and organic synthesis equipment and infrastructure.

“Creating collaborative spaces allows employees to increase productivity and propel the next-generation of aerospace vehicles and technologies,” said Dr. Michael Gregg, the director of AFRL’s Aerospace Systems Directorate. They believe the large-scale renovations will help in the discovery and development of affordable air and space technologies for use by the Department of Air Force.

Are you developing new software for an existing application? Did you know your development work could be eligible for the R&D Tax Credit and you can receive up to 14% back on your expenses? Even if your development isn’t successful your work may still qualify for R&D credits (i.e. you don’t need to have a patent to qualify). To find out more, please contact a Swanson Reed R&D Specialist today or check out our free online eligibility test.
