CauseEDU Helps Students With Financial Planning

If you’ve ever attended post-secondary school, you know how stressful it can be. And academic stress is not the only kind of stress that affects students. Financial stress is one of the biggest factors as to whether or not students drop out of post-secondary school. That’s why Aneesha Allen, University of Mississippi alumna, founded CauseEDU, a startup focused on crowdfunding for students. The startup also offers students help with financial planning. CauseEDU wants to help students get an education without sacrificing quality of life or vice versa.

While the startup charges an annual fee of $99 or $199, it’s very little when compared to the $10,000 families save on average at CauseEDU. The startup platform offers online services in addition to one-on-one financial counselling and, of course, the crowdfunding platform. CauseEDU’s goal is to help students, future students, and their families understand how to budget for post-secondary school in order for students to be able to remain students and not have to drop out or fail classes from financial stress.
