ScopeStack Receives $250K in Funding from SC Launch
ScopeStack, Inc. is the latest recipient of funding from SC Launch Inc., an affiliate of the South Carolina Research Authority which aims to increase R&D and innovation in the SC region. ScopeStack is set to receive $250, 000 in funding to help expand both its operations and workforce.
ScopeStack developed a software-as-a-service solution for developing presales statements of work. After spending years scoping projects and meticulously copying information between platforms and manually updating documents to create proposals, they decided it needed a complete overhaul. They reworked the entire scoping process to automate it into an easy method for delivering quick and accurate statements of work. It successfully allows engineers to accurately price professional services which reduces the scoping time of a project. This increased turnaround time improves workflow in all ways.
Are you developing new software for an existing application? Did you know your development work could be eligible for the R&D Tax Credit and you can receive up to 14% back on your expenses? Even if your development isn’t successful your work may still qualify for R&D credits (i.e. you don’t need to have a patent to qualify). To find out more, please contact a Swanson Reed R&D Specialist today or check out our free online eligibility test.
