TulsaLabs and AI VentureTech Join Together for Space Research
TulsaLabs and AI VentureTech, Inc. have announced their collaboration for the launch of new space technology research labs in New York and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
TulsaLabs, a subsidiary of AppSwarm, is a startup technology accelerator that focuses on bringing application developers together to improve development processes. AI VentureTech is focused on AI R&D for the betterment of mankind.
The joint research labs will help these two companies to develop commercial space-related technologies that leverage AI, machine learning, and edge computing. Their priority is to develop high-performance computing micro-cloud applications in orbit, which can process and analyze huge quantities of data as it is created in space. Edge computing will speed this time-to-insight process from months to minutes.
The companies think these technologies could apply to plant hydroponics for space-based food growth, weather modeling, and medical imaging for long-duration space exploration.
Are you developing new software for an existing application? Did you know your development work could be eligible for the R&D Tax Credit and you can receive up to 14% back on your expenses? Even if your development isn’t successful your work may still qualify for R&D credits (i.e. you don’t need to have a patent to qualify). To find out more, please contact a Swanson Reed R&D Specialist today or check out our free online eligibility test.
