Continuous Diagnostics In Motion
The company developed a system for continuous heat exchanger tube diagnosis. It monitors the health and efficiency of pipes without stopping production. The core innovation uses a Wireless Sensor Ball (WSB) assembly. This ball moves freely through the heat exchanger tubes with the fluid.
The hermetically sealed WSB contains multiple sensors. These gather real-time data on temperature gradients and local conditions. An integrated ultrasonic acoustic transmitter works with a fixed receiver array. This array accurately tracks the ball’s location within the system. Advanced algorithms then fuse the sensor data and location information. This pinpoints the health of individual tubes. The system even allows for optional ultrasonic energy injection for deposit cleaning.

U.S. Patent No. 12422411, titled ‘System and method for monitoring and diagnosis of heat exchanger tube health’, promises significant operational savings. It moves maintenance from reactive to predictive. Industries like power generation and manufacturing will benefit greatly. What is the R&D Tax Credit?
The Research & Experimentation Tax Credit (or R&D Tax Credit), is a general business tax credit under Internal Revenue Code section 41 for companies that incur research and development (R&D) costs in the United States. The credits are a tax incentive for performing qualified research in the United States, resulting in a credit to a tax return. For the first three years of R&D claims, 6% of the total qualified research expenses (QRE) form the gross credit. In the 4th year of claims and beyond, a base amount is calculated, and an adjusted expense line is multiplied times 14%. Click here to learn more.
