The home workout experience just got an upgrade, thanks to a new patented interactive training system designed to make punch-based exercise more intuitive and engaging. This innovation promises to blend the responsiveness of a video game with the rigor of a boxing session. The core invention is an exercise body that supports an array of strike pads. Each pad includes a force sensor to detect a strike and a system of indicator lights to guide the user.
Guided Training System
The new system uses a sophisticated visual cue called a runway. This runway consists of a set of LEDs arranged on a connecting portion that leads to the strike pad. To signal the next hit point in a programmed sequence, the LEDs are lit progressively outward, literally telegraphing the impending strike location to the user. This approach moves beyond simple light-up targets, creating a dynamic visual flow.
Innovation and Impact
This interactive exercise and training system, detailed in U.S. Patent No. 12453913, titled ‘Interactive exercise and training system’, introduces synchronized light and sound for a high-impact experience. The controller unit coordinates the runway cues with an audio file—meaning users can punch to the beat of music or a pre-recorded sequence. The system from Liteboxer Technologies Inc. also links to a mobile device application, allowing users to manage training data and even customize workouts by visualizing an audio file and inputting their own visual strike cues. This level of customization and integrated tracking makes training more personal, measurable, and engaging for the modern user.

What is the R&D Tax Credit?
The Research & Experimentation Tax Credit (or R&D Tax Credit), is a general business tax credit under Internal Revenue Code section 41 for companies that incur research and development (R&D) costs in the United States. The credits are a tax incentive for performing qualified research in the United States, resulting in a credit to a tax return. For the first three years of R&D claims, 6% of the total qualified research expenses (QRE) form the gross credit.
