OwnBackup startup secures new funding
New Jersey based startup, OwnBackup, has managed to collect $167.5 million in funding six months after the startup raised $50 million in funding. This round involves Insight Partners, Salesforce Ventures, and Sapphire Ventures. OwnBackup serves customers such as Aston Martin, Delivery Hero, and Guidewire Software and nearly 3,000 other customers. With 100% revenue growth for five years in a row, OwnBackup is developing support for additional SaaS platforms.
As Salesforce’s number one cloud protection software, the startup offers developers backup, archiving, and recovery resources as well as a way to manage all your data. OwnBackup offers daily backups and a way to identify data loss or corruption causes at the source and assess the damage. OwnBackup is also in compliance with HIPPA, CCPA, and GDPR.
